Eleni Karabouikis

Eleni studied at Liverpool John Moores University. During her diploma Eleni was invited to study in Austria to work on a competition for the New Neuberg Monastery. Returning to Liverpool Eleni and her team won 1st place in the Joint Projects Submission. Eleni completed her professional qualifications at Westminister University.

Since working at dMFK Eleni has worked on a number of projects from new build high-end residential to commercial office refurbishment in listed buildings. Completed projects include Kings Cross Station, Eastside (Camden Design Awards Shortlist and FX Awards Finalist) and Marlborough Place.

Prior to dMFK Eleni worked at Chetwoods Architects where she was involved in the design and construction of the Perfume Garden Pavilion at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, winning the ‘Most Creative Award’.

She has traveled extensively around Central and South America where she spent time as a volunteer worker for a disaster reconstruction organization in Pisco, Peru.

Outside of work Eleni enjoys cooking and exercising and has just become passionate about her weekly boxing classes. She is also fluent in Greek.
