James McCormack

James completed his architectural studies in L’Ecole Nationale Superieur D’Archiecture Paris La Villette and Dublin School of Architecture. He was awarded an honours degree in Architecture in 2010 for his thesis project that connected the dots between archaeology, urbanism and psychogeography.

After working as a guest critic to year 5 architecture students in DSA, James spent time living in California and Berlin before moving to London in 2011. He obtained his diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture from the University of Westminster in 2015.

James has multifarious experience in design, procurement and construction, in Dublin and London. He specialises in the delivery of contemporary interventions to grade listed buildings. He has just completed the delivery of a high profile £13M refurbishment and extension to a mid-century Brutalist livery hall in the City of London.

James has a passion for art, travel and languages (he speaks 3 and is learning his fourth) and can usually be found in less salubrious electronic music venues around East London at weekends.
