Matt Gilbert

Architect

Matt graduated from Cardiff University with a 1st class BSc in 2009 and a travelling scholarship and completed his Masters at the Royal Danish Academy of fine arts in Copenhagen.

He has worked on a breadth of projects across the world including public architecture for WXY architecture in New York, housing projects for Atelier Zhang Lei in China and a Maggie’s Centre for Heatherwick Studio in London.

In addition to his passion for architecture Matt also designs unusual kinetic furniture which has been featured in various press worldwide such as Wired, Timeout and the Sunday Times. At dMFK he is currently working on the delivery of the Former Nestle Factory, and is producing architectural visuals across projects.
