An elegant refurbishment of a pair of part five, part 6 -storey, early eighteenth century, Grade 2 Listed properties on Russell Square, London WC1.
Similar to our project on Sackville Street, the refurbishment of the buildings included the re-organisation of the building??????s entrance and reception to provide a generous and elegant sequence of spaces with replacement of services, lift and full air conditioning. Original features have been renovated and contrasted with more contemporary detailing such as travertine flooring and cool modern lighting.
Floor plates have been sensitively rationalised addressing accessibility issues and resulting in excellent quality office spaces. Services have been installed with minimal impact on the listed character of the building. Extensive renovation and redecoration of the exterior has been combined with some more contemporary rear extensions.
