Main Project Info
Working for Derwent London, we’ve transformed the image of a tired 35,000sqft 1960’s office building, concentrating on reuse of many of the buildings existing services and rugged design features, softened with a gentle colour palette to completely re invent the building for the contemporary office market. We’ve designed bespoke light fittings, integrated with sprayed out existing services to give the building a particular, stylised industrial feel, contrasted against elements of high finish such as lacquered copper signage, fluted timber joinery, and resin floors.
A new, more permeable and accessible entrance and welcoming reception area brings this stripped back aesthetic down to the reception at street level with a new entrance portal that is both contemporary and stands up to the brutalist 60’s character of the original building building. The project was completed in September 2016.
